I like all the added features, and its still easy to use, however I think the old look was more comfortable/ welcoming and looks better overall.

I prefered the look of the old one as well but unfortunatley when you upgrade to phpbb3 you have to use on of the phpbb3 templates/themes. There were only two red themes to pick from and the other one had a a big red rose for a background image.

Yeah, since being over run by roses at our new place I haven't been a big fan.

Hey Fred,

Is it possible to make the CEC logo in the top left corner into a clickable link to the board index? I want to say the old version had it, but honestly can't remember for sure. For some reason I keep going to it and trying to click it.

when I get a chance I'm sure it can be done

you can also click on "Board Index" hehe

I know it is taking some getting used to the new site but I will say this. Since the switch, we have not received one bit of spam.... knock on wood

Yeah, I know about the Board Index tab. Just thought it might make the site a little more idiot friendly. I'm getting better at going to the correct spot the first time. If I don't get it right, the weather tab usually drops down on me as I scroll down and taunts me.

I am enjoying the lack of spam so far.

Something I just noticed was when making a post and previewing it if someone else makes a post while you where typing up yours it will let you know and you can see the new post so you can rewrite your post if need be.

When I first saw it I thought I had hit a wrong button and was about to accidentally modify a post. It said something along line of, "Are you sure you want to do that, someone has already posted to this thread?" I quickly back pedaled and hit Preview again and it still came up so I did what I should have done the first time and took the time to see what was really going on.
