hey fred, just wondering if you thought of setting up an rss feed to this forum.

I don't even know what it is so I probably haven't thought of it. LOL :D

what is it? I'll see what I can do.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

well, it's a xml document that gets generated every so often that other sites can download and display it's info. so for instance, i could link this rss feed into the new cns site, showing the last few messages posted. most news sites are doing it now to allow sites like news.google.com to obtain these feeds and place them as content on their sites. anyway, just an idea, i think i saw on the phpbb2 site that this forum has a simple module install that will let you do that.

yeah, I'm pretty sure that 'redriverclimbing.com' has one....

it sounds like it anyways, flashes the latest posts on the homepage.

sounds complicated but if it's pretty straight forward and you want it for the CNS website let me know
