searching

Postby Dom » Wed Mar 02, 2011 11:05 am

Hey I was wondering if there is a way to make a search where it won't ignore some of the words I use. For example if I write First face it says, it ignores First...

If I put Ra 5.12c it ignores Ra...

I tryed with +, with -, with quotation marks, etc.

Anyways just thought I would ask as I find there is a lot of good info on areas, routes, etc. in past threads.

Unfortunately, I think it ignores three letter words or shorter.

When I have some time I'll see if that is something that can be adjusted in the admin panel. However, I tihnk it does this because it would return too many words otherwise.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I understand this, but I love how on some sites/databases you can use quotation marks to isolate exactly what you want to find regardless of length, symbols, etc.

Don't sweat it though. I have enough time on my hands to go through a lot of what is written to find what I'm looking for.
