Sam... that's a great offer. I know you're keen on throwing yourself deep into climbing this year. However, I think letting Climb Nova Scotia take the lead on this forum transfer might be best. Since you've obviously got some skill in the area maybe you could step up as a forum mod as Nathan suggested or perhaps do some development work on adding functionality? In the end, I think having a community org. run this community service is a good fit. I'm glad CNS is able to step up. Thanks.Samuel Stiles wrote:I'd be happy to take over CEC hosting - I have plenty of free server space and the knowledge to run it as well. I'll talk to Fred in private messages about getting the databases transferred over ASAP.

I'm not exactly sure what you think would change. I log on 3-4 times a day and delete spam and spam users, and the other mods delete spam as they see it.
With exception of the occasional flare up there is very little actual moderating that needs to be done. I don't think any of the Mods are planning to go anywhere. It would be nice if someone else also had an Admin hat as well to get rid of the spammers.
