When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way, so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me. -- Emo Philips

I cant see where it would seeing how the report said north of Camp Pertersville, Wellsford should be out of that area, I dont know where the Blue Mountain Camp is though.

welsford is not included in this area. It only affected certain areas of a few of the artillery ranges. Welsford isnt in the range are of the training grounds.

Welsford isn't in the affected area with the agent orange BS. But there probably has. If they haven't put out an alert or closed the area down its safe.

On of my friends who's in the military suggested I refrain from eating any of the blueberries along the path to the cliffs because of agent orange. I've never touch a bluebeerry there.

I eat them all the time and love taking my time on L-Shape while climbing as there are lots of ledges with blueberrys on them!

I'm fine so far. :) Though I suppose the effects don't show up for years....

I'd worry more about the horse pee on them then agent orange from 50 years ago!

oh well.

I quite vividly remember Mallory telling you that you were just going to have to wait longer one time while seconding you on a fine summer day as she was taking her 'sweet' time to enjoy the blueberries as well.....

so it isn't just me!!! hehehe. :)

I must have scarfed-back at least 10 lbs of those blueberries over the years as well. Of all the hazards at Welsford, I imagine blueberries are pretty low on the list. Except, however, when a certain regular belayer of mine get distracted by the discovery of a particularly good patch....

Did I offend you? Im not sure how. I just said (with typos) that I remember a bunch of us picked blueberrys and I know ness and some others ate them and i don't remember if i did. I am pretty sure you were there.

No offense meant... your not dead right? no cancer? so i guess your okay :)

Hey, im going for a hike on cochrane lane sunday, bringning my gear if there's a chance to climb a bit. My friend Adam is coming with.

If you want to go too, bring steph or whatever, that'd be cool.
Haven't seen you in a couple months now I think

Area

Postby LILSPARK » Sun Apr 09, 2006 6:59 pm

As far as I know, the areas closed off because of toxic soil are mostly in the Petersville area, no areas here in Welsford are affected or closed off. Just an fyi.
I think therefore I run :)
