Bar Harbor

Rumor has it that there may be some people heading to Bar Harbor this weekend. Since we missed everyone at Rumney, hopefully we can hook up in BH. Where are people planning to stay?

we are headed to Clifton and camping at EAgles bluff. I think a group from Freddy are headed to BH.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

thanks for being the bearer of bad news!!! I was avoiding looking at the weather... I thought if I ignored the weatherman it would be nice by default!

If it clears up and you go to parks pond bring a nose plug for the parking lot....a large dead deer rotting at the trail head in the heat. If you take the trail to the base you'll walk right past it.

Didn't manage to pull off any holds there though.

We decided to ignore reports for bad weather, bugs, and carcasses and went anyway. Sweet weather, nil bugs, and no dead deer at Clifton pull-out. Diagnosis = schweet weekend. Precipice is super-high-quality. :D

the deer was at the parks pond pull out.. not the camping. :)
