Fred got me thinking of a few old routes that could see some ascents

Grandpa's Demise
Free Mustard Ears
Mistaken Identity (the one by Chunky Chunky)
Chernobyl
Spiders web
Bogen (pitch one is 5.9)
interloper

I've climbed Grandpa's... sweet line.

Chernobyl is on my list but the others I'm passing :)
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Spiders web is actually quite good, although it probably needs a good cleaning. It was much easier free than it was on aid. The spiders web refers to the tangle of ropes when we aided it, and not to anything natural on the route.

Steve,

I thought you told me and the old guide said the name spiders web was attributee to a 6 foot spider web found on the route?

Now it is getting difficult since I have to remember things from long ago. I definately remember a tangled web of rope when we aided it. This probably mimicked the spiders web and added to the appropriateness of the name (I think I invented a couple of words in that last sentence).
