Start'em YOUNG!

Postby Stacey » Sun Mar 30, 2008 8:20 pm

Well Greg and I decided we might as well hook her into ICE as well.
This is our girl Megan - she's 9 years old...and said her first Ice Climb was FABULOUS :-)

Next year we will need to get her smaller tools as Greg's Charlet Mosher's were too big...but she sent the route, calling it Beginner's Luck!

awesome! just wait until she is big enough to belay you. ;) hehehe. even better!

Look at a really light tool that the girls could use... the Simond Najas are old school but have small shafts for little hands ( a favorite of women climbers for a long time) and they are fairly light too. :)
