Postby david » Wed May 07, 2008 10:49 pm

Hey,

I was in Greenlaw a couple days ago and noticed an new bolted line between Monkey business and Gusher. We didn't get on it... any info?

Cheers

Jamie Simpson project. Please stay off until further notice.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

We looked at it for a while. My partner wasn't feeling it that day... and to be honest, it's a little out of my range. It does look really good though.

hey - sorry about not finishing off that new route (between Scurvy and Gusher) -- I put the last bolt in last november, too cold to climb (I'm wimpy).

Anyway - I should get back within a few weeks to lead it with the blackflies... I'm planning to call it 1604. Not sure the grade - 10 somethingish

If anybody climbs it just don't tell me.

Oh AND - if anyone's in the Halifax area look me up -- I'm starting to get to know the local climbing here - not great, but I did see a whale while bouldering the other week. That was cool. All you get are horses and the odd lamb, perhaps a goat, in Welsford.

Lastly... I'm thinking of doing the ferry route across the south coast of Nfld this summer, and I'm looking into getting onto some rock there -- if anyone has advice let me know. I just order the guide book from MEC in Halifax.

best,
Jamie
