st. Andrew day

Postby martha » Sat Apr 23, 2005 8:02 pm

Well, we had a good day in St. Andrews today. Got some new routes started, a FFA on another and some trail work. (I got to use the HUGE Machete that my Dad brought me back from Nicaragua - what an amazing tool! It does everything from hack up wood to butter my bagel, though the latter was an interesting feat!)

It was a busy day. :) Back tomorrow to do more work and climbing.

Too bad a car load of 5 other climbers came down and didn't climb or hike and enjoy the day. They left a note on our car saying 'We've went in to St. Andrews for a bit'

Must have been a bunch of girls who didn't want to get their hair messed up in the damp weather (it only sprinkled a little!) Is this right Jeff and others?

Was the girl comment really called for Cara? If you don't know the reason you shouldn't ASSUME anything.
Cheers,
Lisa

I DO know the real reason Lisa. Thank you. 8 of us met up early on saturday morning at the market for breakfast and coffee and then all headed down to St. Andrews together in two vehicles. The reason they didn't come in climbing was because it was raining a little.

YOU are now the one assuming things. And yes, the 'girl' comment was called for as it is a long running joke between myself/fred/jeff/jf/jon/mike and the others who were out yesterday.
