cave fever, whats the deal?

Has it been climbed yet this year? Does it take rock gear? blah blah.....

No, not that I'm aware of... it hasn't been great yet, although it might be good now. Yes, when the ice is not too fat, it will take small cams and/or tricams in the crack on the right, just over the lip of the cave. The slabs are often thin... either run it out or try to fiddle small rocks into cracks after you clear them out with your pick. The slabs are easy, but if thin, pro is challengening. Save a stubby for the end. Or wait until it's fat, probably next week with these current temps.
