dont pretend you werent in this thread picking a fight and then act all mature/innocent when people get riled up. in case you genuinely dont know it, you come across condescending, snarky and confrontational and its a major reoccurring theme here that it isnt apprecitated by most of us. no one here understands your motives or vested interest. we hear you climbed here once and you know a couple of us but the majority on the forum only know you as that guy from away mouthing all the time. adams right, chill the eff out and take a minute to consider the image you are projecting to this local community you insist on a long-distance relationship with.

You must be right... maybe it's stuck in one of the tubes somewhere.

the difference is i know the people here and they know that i'm a joker and like to tease others... and i do remember meeting you, i was saying that most of the rest of us here have not met you.

Dear litter remover,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for picking up after us.
I should have written this letter long ago; but I was emarassed about having discarded my brand new snow shoes
beside the trail and allowed someone to pick up after me.
Now I don't discard anything by the trail anymore. I toss my refuse deep in the woods.
I also wanted you to know how much fun I had paying out 150.00 for a replacement pair.
Every time I hike past that spot by the trail I am reminded of your conscientious efforts to keep our playground tidy.
I often imagine you enjoying them on a nice wintery day, exploring deep into the forrest, sneaking up on and watching all kinds of wild life. I say to myself
I sure hope you are being safe while you are deep in the woods and i sure hope that when you turn to run from that giant bull moose intent on having it's way with you that those bindings don't come undone.

Thank you again.

I'm just wondering where all the hating on Ontario is coming from. Yes, being from Ontario (but living in NB now) I am alittle biased, and yes, because Ontario does have a much larger population, it is safe to assume we do have more theft/crime. But not everyone in Ontario is a theif, and there are many small towns (like where I'm from) where people never lock there cars, do still leave them running to go into stores (I've done it myself, until gas' prices went stupid high, anyways) and even don't lock their houses.
Believe it or not, some, if not most of us are still good people.
So, since the rain has stopped, lets all smile, and go climb
Deal?

Born and Bred.
It makes a huge difference where your from. A person from small town ON compared to someone from (and I hate to generalize, but...) Toronto, are more than likely gonna be two completly different people.

Ironically, Nathan has probobly spent more time living in the country than most people in this thread. He's not exactally what you'd call "city folk".
