O'Leary Lake

Postby Fred » Tue Dec 28, 2010 11:54 pm

Has anyone every bushwacked to check out the cliffs around O'Leary Lake in Welsford? Based on the arial photos in Google Maps it looks like there is something significant there, maybe a couple cliffs even. It's tucked up behind the Quarry and Sunnyside. I'm not sure which way would be quicker to approach.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Fred,
O'leary Lake looks like it would be a beautiful spot to visit. It's tucked into that secluded valley in the hills. Would make for a great winter camping spot. Snowshoe in and stay on the lake.

Cheers,
Graham

I'd love to take the hike out someday and check out those cliffs around the lake. Note sure I'd camp out in the winter though, that sounds like alota cold and alota work. :) LOL

I could be down with that. Only a day trip for me though.

We'll need a navigator. Someone with a GPS. Oh, and who knows how to use it... ;-)
