Hillsdale Handcrack

Postby gwa » Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:35 pm

Those who are into jammin' may want to check out this roof handcrack. It's found at a conglomerate cliff visible from Route 111 (goes from Sussex to St. Martins). It's only about 15 minutes from the the road up a steep slope. Hike up across from the Red House. Beautiful views from up there.

Crack starts at the ground and hits the roof at about 20', after the 6' horizontal roof, the crack continues through the lip. Pretty sick looking. Gear in that rock could be interesting.

Could be bit of ice potential up there as well.
