waterfall by scotch lake?

waterfall by scotch lake?

I was talking to a friend of mine, he says that there is a waterfall by scotch lake, aswell as some face. anybody heard anything or know anything???

Yeah I can just dyno, at the very top and I don't really get so scared.
You don’t really realize so much how high you are, and then you fall.

never heard of it but my ears are wide open. We are always looking for more waterfalls for ice climbing.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

i'll get the low down from him, he has some good maps of that area so i'm told, there are supposedly some cliffs aswell.

I grew up on the Scotch Lake road, and if it's the "waterfall" I'm thinking about, it's really more of a deep ditch. When I started ice climbing I went to have a look and was quite disappointed.

However, if you want to check it out (it's a nice drive along the river from Mactaquac), head out Hwy 105 to Bear Island, turn up the Scotch Lake Road, and drive a km or so until you reach a small bridge. The waterfall is under the bridge.
