So saw this at Bald cloud bear trailhead today. Anyone know the story on that?

Also, Groovin' is a ridiculously awesome climb!

The land is owned by J.D. Irving Ltd. I think they have rolled it into their 'unique areas' program. Same goes for Parlee but the adventure trail sign isn't up there yet. I give it until Sept untill it's so riddled with buckshot as to be unreadable. Cheers

I find ironic that Sir Irvin is enjoying the credit of the hard work of Cory, Lucas and the Adamsons for the trail developments...perhaps they'll get royalties and hired on for future 'Irving' trail work :D

What I find weird at Bald cloud bear is who the hell lugged that 50ft tugboat rope out there?? It'll probably last forever hehe.

Me: "Hey you guys enjoying the `Adventure Trail' "
Some Guy: "Oh yes"
Me: "You it was climbers who made that trail"
Same Guy: "Yes I know"
Me: "I guess Irving just decided to put a sign up. Kinda like climbers did all the work but they are taking all the credit"
Guy: "I put that sign up"

Spent rest of conversation trying to remove foot from mouth...
