New outdoor store in Moncton, has climbing gear

Postby sam » Sun Aug 05, 2012 12:09 pm

Figured I'd post here and let people know if they didn't know already - an "ocean trail source for adventure" store just opened up in the new shopping area in Moncton (just behind the Costco, right next to Golf Town).

Unlike rad edge, they have crash pads!! They also have draws, cams, nuts, shoes, headlamps, rope (albeit not a huge selection of some of those things) and lots of outdoor stuff in general.

Not meant to be an advertisement, just figured I'd give my fellow climbers a heads up :)

I bought (since I lost a draw @ CL recently)...

Someone please explain to me why a store carrying rock climbing gear would open up in a city that has little to no outside rock climbing?

SJ or Fred would be better.

1. This is an outdoor store. It's logical that an outdoor store would carry rock climbing gear.

2. Moncton is the epicentre of shopping in the Maritimes. Don't believe me? Go there on any given weekend you'll see that the city is always full of shoppers.

3. There are climbers in Moncton.

4. There is a small climbing gym in Moncton.
So much rock, so little time
