"less" routes at Parlee Brook

Postby Greg » Mon Mar 25, 2013 9:29 am

I climbed Trampless and Breathless for the first time over the weekend and I have to say that these are two nice lines that should be climbed more often. I don't think they see a lot of traffic probably because they are a little bit out of the way and require some snow slogging in order to get to them. Breathless is a good line with a bit of an alpine feel to it. Ice runnel, short snow field then an ice headwall. You can rap the route but it probably makes more sense to walk off down another gulley to skiers right. Directly across the in the opposite gulley is Trampless, a really nice line. Steep, sustained and technical with great position.

In the same area as Trampless there is a crazy overhanging deathsicle that would be awesome to climb if it ever touched down.
