Gumby 2.0

Postby theriault » Thu Jul 11, 2013 8:41 am

Gumby's Roof is now equipped with a Perma-Draw set up on the lip of the roof, this set up should last way longer than the bunch of old tat that used to be up there… and it also looks way more bitc&in! Haha Thanks to Magda for the help and patience while I did this!

PS, Magda wants to know if there's a short person's beta for pulling the roof….

This is awesome. Thanks Marty and Magda! I can't wait to test it... although I think it'll be a while.

Not sure about short beta. Did she try pulling harder?

No man, she had the option of dynoing (fingertips were a good 4 inches from the hold...) but got spooked and flailed out. Only option: get taller.

then the same locking biner that was already there, its exactly the same length of the previous tat that was up there.

Yeah I remember working under there last time around that we replaced the slings. My legs were completely numb!!

Thankfully, because of Marty, no one will have to go up there again to replace the slings for a while!

It dosent change anything, its easily removable, nothing is fixed, its safer, its less of an eye soar and it will last way longer than ALL the tat that was up there before.
