New Guidebooks almost here!

Postby Dom » Fri Jul 12, 2013 3:51 pm

Hey everyone,

Guidebooks have been shipped today!
I should receive them sometime next week.

Here is where you will be able to buy them:

-Me directly. Contact me to get free deliveries in the Fredericton and Welsford region. I will also be selling them at the UNB Climbing Wall the evening of the day I receive them. I also plan to sell them online although I'm still working on my website. Stay Tuned.

-Radical Edge in Fredericton
-River & Trail in Rothesay
-Scout Shop in Saint John

- MEC (not finalized yet, so not sure which MEC, etc.)

I will also possibly be selling them at Alpenglow in Maine and IME in North Conway.

As for the Moncton climbers, I contacted the only outdoor store in the region and the manager ignored me. So my suggestion is that you send emails to Ocean Trails at cleves.moncton@bellaliant.com to let him know there are climbers in the region and they would like a retailer to carry the book.

Otherwise, contact me to get a copy and we can arrange a delivery in Moncton or Welsford. dominic.caron4 at gmail.com

BTW the book has 240 full colour pages, contains 16 areas and over 650 routes (over 230 new routes) and is littered with pictures! - Retail price is set at $38.

Cheers and have a great weekend!

The printer got delayed and is only printing the books this week.

Nevertheless, I will be receiving the first 50 copies this week and the rest next week.

So there will be a Book Launch at the UNB Climbing Wall Thursday July 18th. So come climb and get your hands on the first copies of the new climbing guidebook to NB!

As for those who can't make it, the books will be on sale next week later in the week. I will announce when and where they will be available.

Cheers :)

I finally got my hands on a copy tonight.

Dom, this is an impressive work. I am blown away by your ability to pull this project together in the short time that you did. It would take many authors years to compile a guide of this quality. Congratulations on the release.
