Climbing in West Newfoundland

Postby kriss » Sat May 31, 2008 11:57 am

Hello! My name is Cristina, I am from Spain and will be traveling in Canada for one month. Next week I will go to Newfoundland, I will arrive in Port aux Basques. Does anyone want to go climbing somewhere along the west coast? I will go north for a while, to Cow Head.

Let me know!

I'm also traveling NL this summer.. Heading over probably Friday to Port Aux Basques. Intend on moving east-bound but , if there is some climbing around the west I'd not mind check it out. Where is it and what kind, bouldering, trad, sport...

hey there, umm well on the west coast there is good bouldering near stephenville, and in corner brook they have limited sport and top rope climbs. there is also a cool cave that offers some fun bouldering. st. johns is alot more developed. if you need more info feel free and email me.
