As for the Ice in Victoria Park in Truro, follow the hiking trail and broadwalks up the gorge. The ice is on the right side of the gorge (facing upstream), but I would suggest staying on the left side of the stream where you have a good view of it. Once you spot it, there is a bridge just a little ways farther upstream and then you can backtrack to it. It is only a 30 footer, but good to train on and get your fix.

As to actually finding Victoria park, the phone book might have a map of Truro, or you can find Truro on a tourism web site. Either would probably show Victoria park. Or you could just ask directions.

So, what happened. Did you guys climb? I am sitting here in spring time temps, wondering if there is any ice in N.S. this winter. Pete
