Anyone ever hike to the waterfall there? its suposed to be the highest in NS.

Tried to, a few years ago, but the snow was too deep. Need a snow mobile, or at least other users to have packed down the trail. Peter

I've been to the one near five Islands, it's probably 60-80ft It would have to be really cold for it to freeze

I think it is North River, Cape Breton, that is the highest falls. Mitt: Email Dave Reid. He is up that way quite a bit, knows the area (fishing North River, family nearby), and was with me on our unsuccessful attempt to get in to the waterfall (it was me, Thom and Dave). Peter

I'm pretty sure Scott Kerr has done some climbing there.
