I'm likely in. This time I'll bring some suntan lotion... I think I'm still burned from last time! :?

Turns out Sunday is mothers day, sort of sneaks up on you. I am going to be a good son, so I am out for Sunday. Sorry Cooper.

Sooo..... anybody down for Saturday? Scott, what time are you heading out on Friday? I'd be down for that, but I work during the day. Anyone down for a evening boat ride out to dover for some evening / night sending? I have a sweet coleman lantern I can donate to the effort.

I'd be in for saturday if there's a group going over that morning... could possibly be convinced to go friday night but the timing would be tight (I work till 5). I'm not sure what happened to my sleeping bag when I moved, so that could make the night even more interesting

Speaking of sleeping bags, I'm going to buy one tommorow for the trip. Any suggestions? Barrel or Mummy? What temperature rating do I need for spring/summer/fall ?

hey quinn,
regarding your sleeping bag situation. I would go for a synthetic fill mummy bag rated to about -10C or so. Down is yummy and nice but i found that in NS, especially on the coast, down gets tooo watered , well, down. After a few days you will start to shiver.

North Face cats meow might be a good choice. Not that i like north face at all, but their bags are solid. If you want ot go a little cheaper MEC has some good options. Buy an OR compression sack as well.

peace out.
