Once again my comp wont allow me to 'reply' so I gotta make a new post... ANYWAYS, I read your comment on getting to Halls Harbour there Peter, but how do I get to the ice once I am in Halls harbour? Man it sure is warm, maybe if we cant climb we can swim?!!

CNS Ice Days - Sunday Feb. 6/05

Park at the restraunt/wharf, and walk left (south) down the cobble beach. You can see two or three lines from your car. It is about 400 metres to the first point, and around that point you will see more lines in the distance. To get straight to those lines in the distance, you drive down the shore road, which is your first right, and stop at the snowed in gate 49 (or something like that).

But the best plan is to arrive about 9:45 - 10:00 and sit nice and warm in your car, sipping a Timmie's, until we all arrive. Darran is always going to meet us there, so look for a car with Alberta plates and an interesting rear window decal that is not tourist positive.
