I'll never get tired of bouldering! Though I would like to know what those clippy things are... they seem to be popular out here in the Rockies...

Lead Climbing

When in France, do as the French do.

Like, place bolts, sport climb, wear tight pants, stuff like that, you know.

But here is a challenge, for anyone taking the GZ course:

Describe in fifty words or less, without diagrams, what 'back clipping' is.

How about...

"When you clip the rope from the leader to the bolt into the quickdraw from back to front instead of front to back... the Wrong way.. so that if you fall you will likely will die a horrible death of splat on the granite below"
The phrase "working mother" is redundant. ~Jane Sellman

If a husband speaks in the woods, and his wife is not there to hear him...is he still wrong?

back clipping is the way some one would clip that has not taken the GZ lead course.
Now here is the next challenge. Describe in 50 words or less what is Z clipping.
GO!

Z clipping is, like, when the ZZ Top front men trim their beards (happens rarely). Maybe I better take the course.

Z-clipping is a perfect opportunity to make fund of your climbing partner and hope he doesn't hurt himself at the same time of course
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

So Z-clipping can make you and your partner money?

It didn't take long for this thread to get off topic.

A H-clip for 5$, a B-clip for $10 and a Z-clip for $15... What's a Z-clip? If you don't know what a Z-clip is, you can't afford one.
