I have to climb Sunday this week (daughter's birthday). The tides are good (not high again until after dark).

Fundy?

Alan:

If you cover the plane fare, I will take care of the ride to the ice. Where in the city will you be staying, as we may be able to pick you up?

Alan:

If it is not raining, I hear, you can't beat the Ben.

We have your ride lined up for Sunday morning. Door step to ice to door step. Front seat or back?

So, as of Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m., it looks like Ben, Alan, Thom and Peter. I know Conan and Eager are both out.

How about Graeme? Darrell, are you in N.S, as we are going to Hall's Harbour. Sandrine or Jeremy?

Is there anyone else we should look out for? If so, it will be 8:30 at Steve-O-Renos, 9:00 at the Tim Horton's, Kearney Lake Road.

Others are welcome, including those who just want to try it out. It is not an exclusive club, but it is probably a 10 hour commitment.

Hi Peter, sorry about the late reply. A couple of days ago I discovered I was off to Eureka in the Arctic to start the set-up of our lab there. I leave tomorrow and have been running around like a headless chicken trying to get everything organised in time. Should be awesome and it's my first trip north so I'm pretty psyc'd. I'll miss three weekends so I hope there's still some ice around when I get back! Have fun tomorrow. Graeme

We three amigos got a fine day in at Hall's Harbour left. The ice is not fat, but it is fat enough to take screws (Alan proved), and the weather was very nice (sunny, not too windy, just below zero). A fine day out. We also took a look at Blomindon, but there is nothing formed within 500 metres of the beach access. Peter
