UNB Tour de Bloc

Postby Nate » Wed Feb 28, 2007 5:28 pm

Hey,
Is anyone psyched to go to the UNB comp next saturday (Mar. 10). I can pitch in on gas money or food or something if I can get a drive.

Hey Nate,

I hope you guys are bringing a crew.

aside from the normal Tour prizes...

I've got a ton of schwag for door prizes...

chalk and bags from Black Diamond
3 packs from Arc Teryx
5 Harnesses (mens and womens) from Arc Teryx
20 touques from Arc Teryx
2 subscriptions to Gripped

I'm hoping that more stuff comes in by end of week. we'll see!

Yeah, I'm pretty psyched up. Hopefully there will be some sick Nova Scotia representation. I heard there are registrations from Ontario and Quebec already.

dude, that's some sweet stuff. Did you get Arc'teryx as sponser or did you just pick out nice stuff from them?

They are sponsoring. :) I have some 'contacts'. :) but even still, they were VERY generous!!!

Yes Nate, we've got Ontario and Quebec registrants already. I think about 8 of them!

There is some space for the finals but it is usually very tight.

you can view from the upper viewing area during the qualifiers.

Hey Nate,

I was thinking about going, but I'm not sure I'll have a car yet. If I do, there'd be space for two or three more in the back seat...

If any one from Hfax is going mabye you could swing by Ground Zero and pick up a pair of shoes and chalk bag that a NB climber named shannon left here today. Her shoes are brand new and she will probably need them to KICK ASS!!!! at the Tour de bloc in freddy town.

Are you sure that this 'shannon' is From Fredericton? I do not recognize the name.

There are a lot of climbers in moncton and Saint John too.

This Shannon is from St Andrews I believe but she cranks pretty hard so I would imagine that she would be at the UNB Bloc taking names.
