Maybe Cara and Fred, after they are all Comped-Out, and maybe Brad, Ben, Steve and me. Is that it for Nova Scotia?

Parlee Brook looks like this, if you go down to "Dec. 20th": http://www.geocities.com/kennedy_joe/20 ... ons04.html

Who's in, you girlie boys?

no maybes here unless hell freezes over. Then we'll be there climbing ice instead of Parlee.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Hey Fred,

You might be wandering into copyright infringment with that last comment.

Blackcomb would not be impressed.

Sounds like there's a whole lot of people waiting for the eternal hot spot to freeze over.

Bring it on...

Hey guys. What time are you gonna meet on Sunday, I gotta keep in mind that its an 1.5 hr drive TO Halifax before we leave from there. So I have been 'underitmined' in my decision as of now... so it all depends on when we leave. Anyways, gotta work now. Lets see what happens.

Right now, I am so bagged from work I can't think about Sunday, but the truth is probably that we would leave about 5:00 a.m., to make it worthwhile.

If you are going to Parlee I recommend taking the Lisson Settlement road approach. A report from last weekend says the road is plowed 1/2 way wich leaves a 2km hike in.

see you on sunday if you are out there.

Cool Fred- thanks fer the insider information.

I'm pretty stoked after seeing some of the pics of the area. No tides to consider or nothin!

The pics really don't do it justice at all. I think people are too caught by the moment and don't have time to snag some nice pics. There is so much ice to be had. But most is grade 4 or 4+ with tons of fun grade 3 stuff. So it's not the place to go if you're looking for grade 6 death routes. Just an all around good time and impressive valley. There should be lots of people from NB heading out on sunday. We'll see you there. If any of you want to save time finding the place and would like to follow us for the hike in just let me know what time to meet you at the Irving in Sussex (not Tims because they have better coffee) and we can follow each other in.

Mike,

good luck on saturday hope to see you on Sunday.

Looks like Mike will beat the bad weather, which appears aimed for Nova Scotia but not New Brunswick.

Ben, Steve, what are your thoughts?

Hi, I just can decide. YOu guys have to realize that this means I have to leave my house at THREE THIRTY in the morning.... this is early. VERY EARLY. Plus there is a long ass (I mean 'content moderated'
) drive ahead. Someome make up my mind for me... is it worth a 5+ hour drive and 5km hike when I get there?? If so maybe... more to follow tomorrow. Weather???

Not by a long shot, it isn't worth it. Seriously, do you know how much internet porn you could download in 5 hours?

Peter,

I am still very interested in going. However, the storm seems to have shifted back a bit, meaning that it could dump tonight rather than today. This could inhibit a swift exit Sunday am. I'd say we watch the weather channel and make a decision later in the day, but not too late because if we are going to go, I want to go to bed early. I'll give you a call later to check-in.

Hello. We're just leaving. Didn't get much sleep last night due to porn downloading and what not. Priorities, you know.

We're pretty clear that we'll be taking the Lisson Settlement Road to get there. Only problem is that we have no freeeeekin idea where that is.

Any chance of someone calling us on the road to guide us in???

Mike 902-223-5196

Really appreciated.
