Project? on Musqudoboit trailway

Postby Eager » Wed Feb 20, 2008 7:06 pm

I was out hiking a few weeks back in Musquo and noticed a discontinuous crack line with 1 bolt at the top. It's located at the admiral lake/railway crag trailhead. Is this a project?

What up Eager?!

It's called "The Beanstalk" - the crack is well protected as long as you have small cams (around yellow metolius) and goes at 10+ - the face (2 bolts) is a fun balancy sequence on mono-doigts and small crimpers and sidepulls. I thought the climb had a great flow to it - more or less consistent difficulty but with nice variation in style of climbing. If you get on it let me know what you think.
