So is it true what I read at "Tracstarr.com" that Terrence Bay woods has been slated for development?
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Has been for some time. Who knows when it will happen. We are hoping the boulders will be left as green space. I would hate to see them dynamited. It might be nice if they moved them all to one area to get them out of the way. Maybe they could distribute them around the edge of a parking lot. More likely they will blow them up though.

Luckily a new bouldering area has been developed on the other side of the river/bay.

well, i now have the official word about Terrence Bay woods area. I spoke with the owner of the land today. He owns 9 acres including all of the bouldering area. He has no plans to move or destroy the area as that was one of the reasons for buying the area. He and his wife don't have any problems with us climbing there as long as the area is respected. NO TREE CUTTING and take out what you take in. They plan to build a house there next year but said they would still like to work something out to let us keep bouldering there. So, it's good news. Have fun and respect their land so we can keep climbing there for years to come.

That's great news!
Did you ask him about driving in to the boulders??
The no-drive in is still in effect.
