Boulderfest weather watch!

Postby Zamboni » Sun Jun 15, 2008 10:30 am

Boulderfest is next weekend. In order to supply enough meals for everybody and not generate a lot of waste; we will buy food for the numbers who have purchased there tickets by this Wednesday. If you plan to attend, please have your tickets bought by Wednesday. If your going to show last minute we can not guarantee you will get fed.

Its calling for rain a week from today. But the week after is full of sun, I hope the rain gets in and out by this friday!

If only the high pressure system can linger for both days ...

only 30% right now. defiantly not enough to postpone. tomorrow will be the final judgment.

Get your tickets by 5pm today and you get fed. If you wait, price is the same but you probably won't get fed. But either way you still get into the draw for mega prizes!

I assume that boulderfest is on the agenda for the board meeting tonight? I would like to attend the meeting and might even volunteer to help out. Where and when is the meeting tonight?

Just for your count... I "bought" a ticket online last week sometime I think, but I've yet to get a cheque to Sport NS. I'll try to do that after work today.

Oh man, the forecast is looking pretty right now for sure!

My crystal ball stills says no rain at all. Or maybe it says "high pressure system", which is enough.

Come on guys and gals: you can't go and do real climbing if you can't predict the weather!

If I am right, free food, free boat ride, and free beer, right? I mean, I made it happen, after all?

Otherwise, is there a seniors' discount? Or free beer if over 40? Do I have to buy a ticket at all? Must I join CNS?

And by the way, is Cara not in labour yet? Can't that girl plan anything right? I thought engineers are very precise.

Sigh. If only. You know, Zig asked Fred if we were coming to boulderfest this year.... Norm is a great guy and all...but I don't think he wants to provide that kind of service!!!! hehe.

Don't worry Peter, we'll let people know when we have the baby. So all you pansies out there crying about your finger tips... suck it up... ain't no thang compared to what I'll be doing. Just ask fred...hahahahah... he'd take a granite grating anyday over having to go through this with me again!!!

Enjoy boulderfest, rain or shine! have some beers and some climbs for me!!!!

Boulderfest is 100% on. The bulk of the rain is going to move north of us. See you folks on the island!

Chance of thunder showers on sat? Does anyone think its a bad idea for the guy who has been hit by lightening twice to come to boulder fest? Who wants to share a tent with me?

...and you thought he styled his hair that way? No sir. The best gels on the market are still outperformed by latent electrical charges.

Have fun at boulderfest guys. :D
