Ground Zero Update

Postby pulldown » Tue Jan 27, 2009 8:55 am

just to give all the climbers out there the hope they need that the gym will actually one day be ready for them to return to cranking!!

Anchors are in, rubber is spread out, all the walls are completed, just the little things that need to be finished up.
Rumor is Monday. Stay Tuned!

wow.

cant wait doods! I'm so glad (in a selfish manner) that you guys waited till I got back from out west before you finished for the grand opening...
I really appreciate you waiting for me like that Sean. Your so considerate that way. :)

Can't wait to see all you crazy monkeys!

Sweet, the gym is coming along nicely! It looks really good!

Is that ladder set up on top of the big bale of rubber? I guess, seems like the logical place for it. At least if you were to fall off, the landing would be good!

Can't wait to check out the new place. I'm positive it will be open the next time I'm in town.

jeff, if the gym is not open by the next time you are in town (unless you are planning to arrive tomorrow...), please do me a favour and shoot me in the head.

Kate,
I won't be home tomorrow, or early enough to beat the opening of the gym (unless its not finished till 2010 or there abouts).. unless I win the lottery, then I'll be home for the grand opening... I missed out on that 44 million jackpot on the weekend, I had my return all planned out till someone else stole (won) my money.

I would recommend that we stay tuned to the website .. but it seems to be updated less often than the gym.

Also, the damn music drives me crazy.

Please, please, please ... open the gym. Please.

Anyone know if the $500/2 year membership deal is still offered? Or was that a one-time 'we need cash' deal?

yes, that membership deal is still available.

FYI, email is the best way to get in touch with the gym for info/answers. we are always at the mercy of our web host for updates, and presently at the mercy of the building inspector (etc. etc.) for permits.

thanks to everyone for staying psyched.
