Never been much of a cheater, but willing to give it a try.
Thom has lots of work on the go, and may not make it.
I have a wrist injury, but would like to get out.
The bugs are likely going to be brutal, wherever we go.
Less paddling now better for me, if my wrist is to mend.

Hey Peter, Wannabe-Steve, anyone else,
So are we on for Sunday? I will try to bring my little zodiac and outboard back from the cottage tomorrow, so there may be no paddling (unless there are ethical objections to that, but Peter's wrist could be mitigating circumstances). I will be away from the computer until Sat. evening, leave the decision where to go till then.

Sorry chaps, the boat and outboard had to stay where they were due to lack of car space. So it's canoe or nothing. Marine forecast isn't bad - wind easing overnight, so are we still on for tomorrow?

Hey Steve,
looks like tomorrow is on/off. The only choice are the ocean crags, blackflies are wicked inland, little bastards, but getting out is iffy, sea was too rough today- tomorrow may or may not be better. I'll go out if youre keen and have sea legs. phone me at 902 826 9008 or otherwise scratch till next w/e
