columbus wall - zig's routes on headpoint wall?

Postby chameleon » Fri Nov 12, 2010 8:49 am

Does anybody know much about these lines?

I haven't checked them out yet but I understand Zig put up 3 short, hard, sport lines on the Headpoint Wall (top tier).
He pulled a Sharma on us and neglected to grade or name them...anybody hazard a guess on the grades? 11/12?
Number of bolts? Anyone have photos?

thanks.

I think these were from at least last year or even the year before maybe. I haven't seen/tried them myself but I heard 11s guessed a few times for the grades on them and maybe Scooter might have done them? That's all I know though!

I believe there are 4 lines up on the tier. Stamp and I did the first three (Left to Right) last year. I think I remember the first being the easiest, 10 something the 2nd an 11 something and the third a twelve maube? (Insert joke re lack of rope experience here). Super fun and bouldery, and short.

Lets not forget about the Flying Squirrel project to the left of Freaky Style..bolted several years ago by myself..worked..then left for bigger things..ie Cape Clear... This line is sweet arete slapping crystal nubbin action with a pumpy slapfest run for the chains finish and is open to anyone who wants the FA.
