Dover Destruction

Postby seanT » Fri Apr 01, 2011 7:07 am

:( A early season Reccee to Dover yesterday in the sweet temps revealed some sad news...the big storms of the winter of 2010/11 have totally destroyed parts of Dover island..Bear...top out/nose broken gone!!! large Freezer sized boulder jammed up under White Trash.. The Wave/Bigs problem has toppled and is in peices down by the water in the swimming hole it looks. This is just some of the devestation..truly a sad day for NS climbing.

Sean you forgot to mention the starting boulder for Bull dog is now resting on the ground making bull dog and Pit bull original starts impossible. Oh and there is a gremlin living under the boulder. He's a cute little guy, but whatever you do, "Don't" feed him chicken after 7pm! Trust me. Barbie's corvette will never be the same.

I heard the waves washed the 'D' away, and bouldering there is now 'over'.
