Farewell to Nacho

Postby seanT » Thu Jun 30, 2011 7:44 am

Last night GZ's beloved Nacho left this mortal coil behind and is now chasing rabbits in the sky. Thanks to everyone who gave him a belly rub or ear scratch over the years. Or put up with his whining and reaking breath in the back of the van. He truly was a member of the crew over the years and left behind a legacy of dog problems for future K9 generations to work on.
Peace...

Sincere condolences for your loss, Sean.
Nacho was well known to the whole climbing community - and has more FA's than I do.

I'm really sad to hear this, Sean.... Nacho was pulling the Lazarus act for so long there, I was starting to think of him as immortal. He will be immortalised in our thoughts and memories, however.

Much love and hugs to you and yours.

You can't blame him for licking them off, though.

RIP Nacho Dog.

wow Nacho is gone! I loved that dog! Up untill Nacho I hated dogs, i have been attacked more times then i like to count and i was all ways afraid of dogs untill I met Nacho. First at the old school GZ and out at the boulders then later when i lived with Sean i got to know Nacho. He help keep the coach worm on nights watching Dosage vol1. I never met a dog who would stop 5 feet from a porcupine he was chasing just by Sean yelling "Nacho STOP!" He was the best craig dog you would ever meet, he would never get in your bag and try and eat your lunch.Only dog i ever had the pleasure of hanging out with who wouldent step on your rope or your crash pad and he would never walk under anyone bouldering! He was better then most of the kids at GZ for crying out lowed!

Your breath might have smelt like rotting fish But heres to you Nacho the best car guard dog there was, hope you are out bouldering up in doggy haven or chasing cats.

Cheers

This really makes me sad. He was a fixture at GZ for as long as I've known it.

RIP
