Sudbury

You go girl(s)!

Hey Mike. I lived in Sudbury after completing my first sentence at university. Don't tell the fresh-faced Bouldering crowd, but that was 1984-85.

From my kitchen window, I looked out at the Super Stack, and at night, at the pouring of red-hot tailings on the slag piles. Oh, the memories! We lived on a hill (Wellington heights), so when the weather was just right, the Stack stream of smoke was pushed down and passed over our building. It was like smoking sulfur cigs.

Of course, it is much better now than in 1970, before the Super Stack was built. (I would tell you about living near Timmins as a pre-schooler, but enough of that. Nostaglia just isn't what it used to be.)

Glad to see all the local boys make good! Say hi to Mr. Graham, as well.
