Important info for Boulderers in the Open Category:

A quick reminder that if you want your Open points tracked in the CEC registry to register with the CEC today. The CEC has received over 100 registrations in the Open division so far, but we know there are many more who have competed at sanctioned competitions this year through the Tour De Bloc who have not yet registered. It is not too late as there are many Open Local competitions left. You are encouraged to visit the CEC website (http://www.competitionclimbingcanada.com) for Open membership and registration information. It is a very easy and quick “on line” registration process and best of all for this year there is no charge. The CEC will then track your points and you can see how you do compared to other climbers in other parts of Canada. The CEC uses these points to select the National Bouldering Team which will represent Canada at Internationally sanctioned competitions. Again you are encouraged to visit our website to find out more about joining the CEC and how you can qualify for the National Bouldering Team.
