Movement Climbing Clinic at UNB with Heather

Postby john » Thu Nov 15, 2007 11:58 am

HI Guys,

The UNB Rock and Ice Club will be inviting Heather Reynolds Sagar to the UNB Wall to teach a climbing movement clinic. Heather has tons of experience and has worked with many of Canada and USA's top climbers over the past 10 years to help them improve their climbing skills through hands on courses, clinics and programs. She has authored many articles papers and a book relating to climbing specific training and has traveled extensively climbing herself. Climbers of all experience levels will find the upcoming movement clinic very worthwhile if they are keen to improve their skills.

In effort to keep the group hands on and maximize the learning opportunity the group session size will be limited to 8 on a first come first serve basis. Heather is willing to offer more than one session if there is interest.

Where: UNB climbing wall
When: Nov 24, 10am
Cost: $40

This is hands on so bring you climbing equipment (shoes, chaulk bag)

Prepayment in full is required by Wednesday November 21, 2007, 9pm, no exceptions. Cash or cheques are excepted at the UNB Wall starting tonight in an evelope marked climbing clinic in the cash box.

cheers

Follow-up

The clinic went extremely well, a big thanks to Heather for traveling down to put it on. Six people who had not done a clinic benefited from the opportunity. The feedback was very positive from those involved.

Look for future events after Christmas

The phrase "working mother" is redundant. ~Jane Sellman

If a husband speaks in the woods, and his wife is not there to hear him...is he still wrong?

i advise all to avoid being hung over for these clinics to maximize their benefits... or to avoid the 'pushup-hops' if you are
