My wrist is like a lada

Postby cstamp » Tue Dec 19, 2006 6:19 pm

My left wrist is starting to feel as if it is being dislocated from my forearm when on overhanging routes. The feeling is diminished when the hold is a pinch instead of an open hand or half crimp. Is there any exerices that could help this injury.

This happens to me occasionally too. It would be nice to know a way of fixing it if there is one. It used to happen a lot, but it doesnt happen as much anymore.

climbers regularly 'pop' dislocate their wrists on slopers

It has happened to be a few times and it hurts like hell. Plagues you for a long time too.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Please excuse me for being slow, but what exactly is "a lada"?

Is it similar to Alota Fahchina? I feel a bit lost. :?
