Guidebooks for Sale

Postby Fred » Sat Nov 19, 2005 2:40 pm

Cara and I have doubles of the following guidebooks since we merged collections. We are looking to unload them. All are in mint condition/new.

The Gunks Guide, Third Edition, Todd Swain $25.00 ($33+tax new)

Nova Scotia Rock, A Climber's Guide, Sean Cassidy $20.00 ($27.50+tax new)

Halifax Bouldering, Ghislain Losier $15.00 (? new)

Guide des cascades de glace et voies mixtes du Quebec, Ice guide, Stephane Lapierre, Bernard Gagnon $30.00 ($39.99+tax new)

Rumney, Ward Smith $25.00 ($25USD+tax)

All of these might be negotiable. Send me a PM.

Also, I still have some copies of the Welsford guidebook for sale $20.00 each.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

The ice guide is in French. I'm pretty sure it isn't available in English. It is really easy to understand though. if you know the words, 'right, left, ice, pitch, rope, tree etc' you can use it easily. :)

Do you guys still have the Queeebec ice guide? What condition is it in?

I'll buy it from you guys if you still have it when i'm down in NB for the XMas holidays.

You'll have to meet me at Parlee Brook dressed in full ice gear though. Sometime between Dec 26-29.

Likely around the 28/29th as we'll be at my parents in Digby from the 25th- 27th-ish.

we'll be sure to bring the guide. :)
