Gear for sale

Postby Shawn B » Wed Jan 18, 2006 2:19 pm

I have a chance to pick up some gear from a business which is closing out. The owner is selling all her stuff but I only want the holds. She would like to get rid of it all at once. Anyone interested in any of the following? Prices should be attractive but depends on what she will think is an acceptable offer. Let me know here if any interest and I'll make her an offer. I just don't want to get everything and then get stuck with it. Everything is as new condition used maybe 5 times and purchased new in 2003.

4 grigris
15 locking biners (DMM I think)
spectra daisy chains
3 osfa harnesses
chalk bags and balls

Everything is in as new condition. Her wall only got used 5x's...so any gear would have been used a max of that and some gear probably not at all. Daisy's are 120's I think. And remember even though it is not used, the gear is approx 3 years old if that bothers you regarding life span of soft goods. I actually don't have the gear yet, she is currently away. I'll post pics when and if I get it.

I would be interested in one of the grigris.

Hey Shawn, I'd be interested in a GriGri and a long daisy chain, and maybe two lockers, depending on the price of course....

I have the gear now. Daisy's are 120cm spectra/dyneema by Climb High. I have quite a few of these left. Locking biners are actually Omega and are the ones that the gate opens at an angle to the spine so it opens further. Also quite a few of these left. I have one osfa harness left. Will work great for kids. It is a Singing Rock and has one gear loop. I have 5 Mammut chalk bags. Sorry all grigris are spoken for. All gear is seriously same as brand new. I'll be away for a few weeks and will distribute all spoken for gear when I get back.

I'm now back. Sorry grigris are all gone. I have locking biners, daisy chains, osfa harness and chalk bags left. Biners are Omega (retail approx $15), daisy's are Climb High spectra 120cm (retail $28), harness is Rock Empire osfa with one gear loop (retail approx $45) - would work great for kids as waist goes quite small; chalk bags are Mammut (retail $20). PM me with an offer...the more you buy the better the deal. You pay the shipping if you want it shipped. Email bethuner@nbnet.nb.ca with climbing gear in the subject line and I'll reply.
