Cobras???

Postby justin » Mon Jan 30, 2006 7:52 pm

Just wondering if anyone has used Black Diamond's Cobra tools I have a chance to pick up a set for a good price , but I've never used or even seen anyone with them, sceptical of the grip size and mabey clearance????
Any info appreciated
Cheers Justin

Best tools I've used. They just swing so nicely. Grip is a little big if you have small hands. When I first switched to them, I found my hand getting pumped on longer steep sections but don't find that as much anymore. You probably won't be going leashless with these either if that is important to you. No problem at all with clearance.

they are comparable to pinching 4" tubes and climbing vertical ice
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I've decided to hold off for awile anyways with the less than perfect season we are having, and would prefer something a lil better for leashless anyways.
Thanks for the help
