I don't think I can fully explain why I like C4's so much more but, they trigger so well. and the lobes are so beefy they just look and feel like they will hold in anything.

Ummm, no options for multiple faves. I love the Metolious TCUs, and then I have a few Metolious 4 cam units (up to the green), then I love BD for larger cams (#1 or #2 and up).

Metolious TCU's for the small sizes, BD camalots for the big sizes and the Aliens are good to for wherever the TCU's don't fit.

my favorite sizes are blue and yellow TCU and #1 BD C4 :D

Do you mean those stright bar beasts that like to snape if placed in horizontal cracks?

Actually people who climb in area's where all their pro is in horizontal (ie. gunks) use modified forged friends. They say they last longer than flexible cams cause the flexible cams end up being bent and stay bent.

And I traded two of those for one 0.5 camelot, I still think I came out on top. right Martha?

Sorry Mat, I think the winner of that game was me.

Hmmm. I've never seen that done before. Clever idea though, seems as if it would work.

CCH alien up to red. They are the best in the small cams regardless of the recent recall. BD camelot from .5 and up.

Well, my Robot Cams from Rock Empire did not even make the list, although they might have faired better if it was a poll of value for the money, as they are less expensive than most (if not all) of the ones listed. I have grown to like my Robot Cams. I do have a Wild Country Friend which I quite like, but I have encountered instanced such as placement at the back of a deep flaring crack where I could not operate the trigger on the Wild Country and had to use a Robot Came instead. That being said, I am voting for the Wild Country because I want to see the poll results (can’t see until you vote) and I have not used any of the others listed.

Just wondering if anyone has tried out those Omega Pacific Link cams, they look rather strange to me, a few too many moving parts I guess. Just curious if anyone has any opinions on them.

OK, I get the concept. Three Cams in one. Cool! Once the first cam is pulled beyond a certain point it becomes essentially just part of the cable system linking the second cam to the trigger. It looks like a really good idea. I am curious though about how well it works in cracks which correspond in width to the transition zones between cam segments? If it works it could be quite a technological breakthrough. A one size fits all cam. I would want to keep an eye on those hinges for signs of ware though.

From what I have read on rc.com. they are pretty good but heavy and have alot of moving parts. Most people are going with the TRANGO's for max coverage. I will stay with Bd's though.
