Ice gear

is anyone selling cheap older ice gear- particularly boots around size 10 or 11 and crampons? I'm really getting psyched on ice climbing.

Just wait until you flash your first M6!

Sorry, i don't have any gear for you. Try MEC gear swap or Ebay for boots.

My friend has actually had a lot of luck on E-bay for ice boots. I found both mine and Nathan's boots from people on RC.com. We both got sweet deals. You just have to make sure you work out a deal where they'll ship to Canada.

I know that boot fit is very very important, but keep in mind that if you get a good deal and they don't work out you can always sell them to someone else and recoup your money (at least most of it). Both Nathan and I lucked out and our boots ended up fitting fairly well.

I got new boots for almost half price! :D

The guy I bought them from wore them around the house or maybe took them out climbing once and decided they didn't fit his feet. They looked like they had never been out of the box.

Fred has boots in size 10 that he would be willing to part with. if you don't find anything before, you can always try them on at our Tour de bloc.
