Can you really ever have too many shoes?

Agreed. Shoes are the one thing in climbing that you never seem to have enough of. Well that, and carabiners. But the shoes wear out much much quicker than biners do.

I'm there with you. except my feet are different after having the baby and a couple of my shoes don't fit anymore... they were really tight before.. now they are impossible!

Did you quit wearing them for a while? I find if I don't wear them often enough my really tight shoes can feel overly tight too.

Yes I did quit wearing them for a while, at the end I could only fit into my loosey goosey long day shoes...but these are an exception.. all the rest of my shoes are tighter...but this pair was always tighter than the rest..but bareable.. now.... no way.

I lost all the calluses on my feet from not climbing for ~6 months there. I can wear my trad shoes, and my old old old stinky velcros, but the new velcros that I got last summer hurt!!!!

If I can't rebreak them in (or rebreak in my feet) I'll have to get new slippers that I can handle for the summer.

Scooter, sorry for the thread hijak, but at least it keeps the subject at the top of the forum! Hope you sell your shoes.
