MEC New Catalogue

Postby Fred » Fri Mar 11, 2005 1:19 pm

has the colour coded patent holder lost their right this year or what? Seems every nut this year is new and guess what... they all feature a new anodized color coding system.
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

I like the pretty colours but.....

The Wild Country set reminds me of easter (soft pastelly colours). "Lilac' and "pistachio" come to mind :?

looks like DMM have gone with the same palette.

It would be convenient if they all used the same colours to mark the same sized nuts. I like seeing two companies using the same colours, provided the sizing is about the same.

Black Diamond Stoppers have the same colors as the old Smileys.

and ABC Heuvos ARE the old smileys and they are the same color. I think that the omega nuts are the same colors as well. not sure.

in any case, the smileys are the shizzle when it comes to perfect nuts.

I think that some of the BD nuts are different colours that the old Smileys (my nut set is an incomplete set of smileys, missing stuff filled in by BD). The Omega scalops are the same colour as the smileys.

I'm glad there's someone else who really likes these nuts, my boyfriend is always trying to convince me to use his WC set. He's trying to convert me.
