Lost Timex at Welsford

Postby Mike D » Mon Aug 18, 2008 11:59 am

Great climbing yesterday (sunny ... :D ) at Cochrane Lane.

Sadly, dropped my trusty old Timex Ironman watch somewheres at or between Cave Area and Burrough's.
If you found it (and would like to return it :!: ), please PM me.

Thanks,
Mike

Most people put things they find in the sign-in box.

Unless it is my nut from Warm and Sultry (I really don't care) or Bowles's guide book (he cares... really cares).

And some people take things they find in the sign-in box... you know who you are... and if I catch ya you'll be pulling your teeth from the sign-in box.

Ha Ha... No, I tend to whimper and whine after I "take a lickin".

Cara,
The image of that scene in my mind gives me the chills... crazy stuff... thanks for the pending night terrors ;)
I'm a gentle coward... I just like to huff and puff a bit.

I really hope those that take things from the sign-in box are local kids, but I doubt it. I'm aware of three "thefts" so I'm sure there are more. I won't leave anything of value in there again... just take it home and post it on here.

By the way... someone left sunglasses at Sunnyside like last summer (10-12 months). They have been hanging in the tree at the top of the trail in plain sight since then. They were scratched to heck, beat up and not going to be worn again in that shape. They now reside in a landfill. Obviously they weren't worth that much to you since you didn't want to walk back up to get them. If they were yours and my actions upset you I will give you $5... I figure that is what the pleasure of dropping them in the garbage can was worth.
