Dude, just check out the Metolious woodie hangboard, find an appripriate piece of wood and a router (and some sand paper if you are fancy) and make your own. YOu can customize if you wish.

I would but i really don't have time to do that, and for the price of the wood, the pain of finding a router and everything else i'd rather buy one.

PS if you wanna make one for me i'll buy it off you.

Hmm. Start a hangboard manufacturing company....brilliant.
I'll call it ..... Rip Off Hanging Woodies......No wait.... Scratch that.
I'll think about it, mine is still in the prototype phase. (I suppose You could say I have half a woodie......no wait, scratch that too....)

Luke, just use the one at the gym.

If you have one at home, you'll use it for a bit, and then abandon it. Seriously....

the one at the gym is actually Freds....so you see what I'm saying? Just climb at the gym and use the hang board there!! :)

Cheers.

I've had my hangboard for over a year, and I use it constantly.

Just have to make a program that you'll stick to, and put it in a place that you'll use it all the time.

I'm impressed.

I've often thought I would use one, and do use it while I'm at the gym and train with friends etc. But at home I am so busy with house stuff or actually out on the rock that I just never made it a habit to train.

I try and do a routine a couple of times a week. But what I mostly do is a set of pull ups or knee rasies or work on the smaller ledges everytime I pass under the hangboard.

Every week I just increase the amount of chin ups I'll do in a set by one.

I sadly do not have any rock that is within bus distance that is really worth jumping on so the gym and the hangboard is all I've got.

Cara, the reason i'm asking is that i'm working more and more and i'm not getting enough time to go to the gym. i'm not the kind of person that quits something either, so yeah.

Luke! Dude!

YOU'RE 16!!!! The way you talk with your three jobs and girlfriend and supporting the family makes me chuckle. LOL If you are busy now wait till you have a carreer.

As for the hangboard.... Just buy a rubber ring forearm trainer and bring it to school with you or one of your three jobs. hehe

see you at the gym man
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

ahahahahahahahah busted a gut

Luke, at the rate you are going and as young as you are you should have 5.14 as a goal. You'll be cranking hard in no time.

Zig, la meteo c'est la merde ici chum. Esperons que demain ce portera mieux. Si oui, on va developer des nouvelles voies a Sandy Cove. Ya du potentiel pour des nouvelles voies sport je pensse.

Luke,

we've already said you can come climbing with us as soon as this weather gets better. This weekend (June 4th/5th) we are teaching a course on Saturday. Perhaps sunday, weather permitting, you can come out.

cheers,

Cara
